You might think the insurance companies are secretly spraying the pages with chloroform because not long after you get through the section of the first page that outlines your name and address, you want to fall asleep.
Insurance should be used to transfer risk of loss that we cannot afford to carry personally to an insurance company that can. In almost every carefully constructed comprehensive financial strategy, some type of insurance is a critical element. But while the industry gives all insurance agents excellent training on how to sell it, the training on how it actually works, or how to properly explain it, let alone design it optimally within the context of an individuals comprehensive strategy, leaves room for improvement.
